The service was good but the food quality was so so... didn't taste good at all...

This was the worst IHOP I have ever been to. I sat and waited for my turn to be seated patiently. I watched as the employees seating customers barely could speak loudly enough to call out names, then I watched at least 3-4 people who came in after myself and my daughter get seated. As I am getting my daughters coat back on so we can leave one of them finally asks me what my name was and then says "oh well we skipped over a name because we couldn't read it" like it was my fault it got written down sloppy and they didn't have ... read more
1st time in many years to go to IHOP, food was okay average at best, service was good other than other employees talking loudly about their personal life so just about everyone could hear. The building is in disrepair ceiling tiles stained everywhere with one that looked like if it had another drop of water on it it would fall out of the ceiling. This Ihop branch in Urbandale made my most memorable Mother's Day ever! My family & I enjoyed the food and Most of All the Excellent Honest service. I wanna thank the Manager & Employee who found & returned my important stuff. Thank you so much!
Had a wait of 30min before getting drink order then another 25 min before placing order. Then it wasn't even the correct food. My kids were out of drinks for 45min before the server even asked us how it was. No tip for this guy. Took almost 2 hours to eat something that would take 20min to make and serve at home.
This place sucks now. Call in a to fo they can't do it. Which I get late night but usuly i pay over the phone and the manager says sorry other managers do but I don't. Fu then I'll take my business elsewhere.
Absolutely love this place! The servers love their job and you can tell. They make it a fun experience for everyone...the food is also amazing of course!
