History: Our family's Sussex County agricultural heritage dates back to 1910, when Jacob Tanis Sr. bought his first Sussex County Farm. Having immigrated from Holland in the 1890's, the Tanis family initially settled in Paterson, NJ. Young Jacob got into the dairy business by selling extra milk from the family cow. He began looking for land and came to Sussex County. It wasn't long before the Tanis family established one of the world record dairyherds. Love going there to go tree hunting! They do all the rest after you find your tree and are so friendly and provide donuts and hot cider!
This was our first time visiting. They were all very friendly and there trees are beautiful. I highly recommend anyone in need of a Christmas tree!!

Great pumpkin picking for all ages
We had a great time picking pumpkins out with our 3 young children. We liked that it’s not a huge and overwhelming place, a nice short hayride to the pumpkin patch was just enough for the kids. The on-site bakery has delicious pies and donuts too.
Was just there with my family before it got crowded and we parked away from any cars because we have a big truck. When leaving it was very crowded and the RUDE attendant blamed us for double parking after saying someone should have been there directing parking. When i explained we parked in what we thought was a normal spot away from everyone he was nasty and unprofessional! You should never be rude and blame your customers for your mistake. There are plenty of good farms around but we will not return here!!! Very disappoint... read more
