I had such a wonderful experience at Idar. Lance was awesome, taking such great care to explain to me how we could turn my grandmothers engagement ring into my wedding band. He explained the process and the risks with using the diamonds to create the band. In the end it turned out even better than I could have imagined. So grateful that they took such good care of my grandmothers ring.
Was in earlier today to get a quote on a custom piece. Was delighted... the quoted price for 17 grams of 14kt yellow gold was over 7000$. That’s 4x the price of spot. Not including craftsmanship or anything. I can understand the workmanship being expensive… Retail beware, that mark up is extreme. They make nice jewelry but you can get it made twice at those prices
