Icons Barbershop is hands down the best barbershop around. Anthony cuts my 4-year-old son’s hair, and he is incredibly patient, professional, and great with kids. He made my son feel comfortable the entire time and gave him a clean, fresh haircut that came out perfect. Cristian cuts my hair, and every time I leave, the fade and lineup are on point. Jay at Icons is the absolute best barber in OC. I have shopped around a ton and found him and it is not even close, the detail and focus on the fade and especially the beard is unmatched. I think bro is the beard god fr. I travel a lot and it is painful when i have to get cut by anyone else cuz Jay is that much better than the rest. Also a great person. He came in on his day off recently without saying anything, just because I mentioned i was in a pinch before an important event. Highly recommend.
I have curly hair, which usually requires a scissor cut. Guy who cut my hair seemed knowledgeable. At first, he didn’t wet my hair, which every barber normally does with curly hair, I let it slide assuming he knew what he was doing. As he’s cutting my hair, he tells me he had a nephew or something that also had curly hair and he cut it too short. Definitely didn’t help to hear that. My roommate Jeff visited Icons Barbershop for the first time today, 08/13/2025. Barber Brian trimmed off Jeff's beard, giving him the royal treatment ... hot towels, lather, massage. Jeff was so pleased he said it was THE BEST experience he'd ever had! The entire staff was friendly to me. I observed the customers who came in during Jeff's treatment, and every customer had an attractive, precise cut.
Never disappoint, spot is chill and the vibe is welcoming. Jay will make you look like you got enhancements on your cut, it's always clean. Highly recommend
