I built a home with ICI, spending $750,000 on my home to have 37 items defective. After a year of working with engineers, inspectors, and ICI reps there has been no assistance in reimbursing me for hundreds of hours of my time and thousands of dollars. I have built 2 houses ground up before. ICI have been the fastest of the 3. BUT QUALITY of construction and workmanship leaves much to be desired. The walls are hollow, cannot drive even a one inch nail; can barely use pushpins! We tried to add a new clothes hangar in the walk in closet, and the minute we hung clothes on it, the hanger collapsed, leaving big holes in the walls! Having served 20 years on active duty, and purchased and sold a number of homes, our home buying experience with ICI Homes is without question the worst, and it isn’t particularly close. We are now nearly four months past closing and still have several items from our pre-closing walkthrough that have yet to be fixed by the ICI Homes team. My wife and I built a home in their Fishhawk West community. We are very disappointed in the fit and finish of the home. Is not what we expected from a company who advertises as a custom builder. So far, our concerns and frustration have been minimized. I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone. If I could give them zero stars, I would. I wholeheartedly regret this purchase.
our roof is leaking in a house that was built 5 years ago!!!! and now the warranty will not cover it?!!!!! never build a house with them, go somewhere else.
My husband and I have built custom homes all over the world and never had such a easy process and dealt with such professional individuals like Ryan and Angela. I was amazed how efficient and quick they are to respond to all our needs. The homes are built with exceptional quality and cosmetically the neighbour is not only safe but beautiful.
