This chef knows the alchemy of food! – Very swank atmosphere! High ceilings, low lighting, flowing walls of chiffon undulating, private tables with low bench beds, and a urban unisex bathroom in shimmering irredescent tile. Definitely looks like a place for a romantic evening of fun. I met after work for a quick wine and small plate with a few girlfriends. HA!! We ended up staying until after 9pm partaking in many small plates, each one an exquisite execution and a unique presentation. We tried the Calamari Steak with a remo... read more
All the bad reviews are spot on! Avoid this place. – This is the first time I've ever written a review for a restaurant, which tells you a lot about how bad this place really is. Long story short, in addition to the same sorts of things that people here have already said about the bad service and sub par food, at some point in the evening the general manager pulls me aside and tells me he won't be serving drinks to one of my friends anymore. I tried really hard to have a civil conversation with this man, but every time I ope... read more
Ruined my first anniversary – My husband and I decided to celebrate our first anniversary at Ibiza and we had made reservations a week and a half in advance. Unfortunately, the restaurant failed to tell us that the dining room would be closed off for some VIP's birthday, even when we called the restaurant the day of to confirm. This was at a normal dinner time, Tuesday at 7pm, yet we were told when we arrived that we would have to be seated in the lounge and could only order off the tapas menu, as "all of the chefs were dedi... read more
Different Restaurant – I work at the Smith Tower and I have been frequenting Ibiza for the past few months, mainly for happy hour. They have great drink specials, friendly bartenders, and their tasty small plates can't be beat for 3.95. Recently, the bartenders have been mentioning some changes happening to the menu, and everyone who mentioned it seemed to be very excited about the changes. So Tuesday, I decided to skip my usual two plate happy hour routine, and come in a bit later for dinner. I read the last review and I wa... read more
What a DISAPPOINTMENT – I was really excited to check out Ibiza since the pictures of the decor looked so pretty and inviting. I should have read the reviews first. What a disappointment this place was. The food was flavorless and cold. My husband and I both got the "Deconstructed Paella" that tasted gross, the seafood was cold, and it took a long time for the food to come out of the kitchen. My mom ordered the eggplant tower thing, that she seemed to like okay. The drinks were alright. The service was very fake and not pers... read more
Great Decor – It is absolutely lovely inside! Nice place to meet up with friends for cocktails. The sitting area near the door is a tad chilly (since it's directly by the door). And the hostess will stand directly outside the door and smoke. You'll get a nice wiff of cigarettes here and there because of it. Besides that...it's a must to check out.
We needed a restaurant like this! It's all about the ambience – I have not one bad thing to say about this establishment. We so enjoyed our night out here. The ambience and decor were spectacular. Very posh, great lighting and actually very comfortable. When you walk in, there is a bed and couches everywhere in the lounge. The big room is divided by floor to ceiling mesh shades and fine chain-mal. I forgot to mention the celings are 19 feet high! For dinner, we sat in a booth that was semi-circular.This booth was the most co... read more
Hip atomosphere – Very good food and drinks. Friday night for dinner was not that busy, but that was a good thing because it kept it a bit more romantic.
Place to be see and be seen – This is *the place* for a girl's night out. It fit the bill of what we were looking for: ambience, classy but not stuffy, great mixed drinks, and an intimate place with some cool music in the background. They had sheer curtains and they even had a bed in the lounge area - how cool is that??! Anyways, I really liked the way the white booths were set up - great for a group of 4 and the overall decor/ambience, quite chic and trendy. The food was pretty good. The black fettucini with prawns - beware... read more
