I Love Korean BBQ Kamakana Ali’i is one of few places I’d drive all the way from town just to eat. When you get to the mall if you are craving great authentic Korean food then this place is great for you. The store when walking in I was greeted by the workers in the front. The food was tasty , not much food on a plate. Prices for a regular plate started @ $20. & up. When I asked for my proper change after paying cash, I did not get the coins they were missing just dollar bills...coins in the register, no explanation. Told the server where's my correct change ? He went to get the Korean owner. She was very RUDE & DISRESPECTFUL! Instead of explaining things of how we need to save our coins and pennies she yelled @ my husband and I...I need my coins...asked why do you have this in your register ?... read more
Came here for the first time. They were closing within 45mins. We ordered the bbq chicken and meat jun combo, kalbi and poke combo, and the mini kalbi. Food tasted pretty good except the poke. It looks decent, but tastes old and mushy. The sides were ok. We tried to order the garlic chicken, but they told me they put it away. カルビプレートを注文しました。確かにカルビのお肉は美味しいですが、ご飯やキムチなどのお惣菜系が正直言って美味しくないです。ハワイだと他にあるコリアンBBQの有名店があるのでそちらと比べてしまうと残念です。 以前はここにYummyがあったのですが何故？無くなったのか？
The Kalbi had so much flavor, tender and juicy, just delicious and a nice big serving. Service is excellent and everyone is really nice.
