Hyundai of Athens was who I purchased my car through and they were wonderful. After ALM had taken over and I have been having major repeated engine issues, the service department has been the biggest headache. None of them are knowledgeable about cars (except the actual technician) and could not answer any of my questions about my engine and a possible claim. We appreciated the effort Jay made to try to get us in a vehicle. I feel that he went beyond to try to help us. We really would have bought there, just because of Jay. But financing tried to push things off on us that we didn’t want. Sad to say, we drove over 2 hours to buy the same car for $1000 plus dollars cheaper. We had a check with a $47,000 limit and financing knew it. ALM financing rather see a customer walk out than to negotiate as Terry Ried did for us. Jacob Drake showed me the 2 vehicles I came to see on Cars.com He met me and let me test drive the vehicles. My decision was based on smooth ride and interior smell. Jacob answered all my questions and he was pleasant to work with.
Our salesperson "Elvie" was awesome. We hadn't considered purchasing the Sante Fe hybrid. We were just driving into the car dealership to just eyeball another hybrid vehicle. We decided we did not like that particular vehicle and Elvie suggested the Santa Fe hybrid. She was knowledgeable, professional and friendly. She was easy to talk to and ask questions. We liked the warranty on the car. Could not pass up the the financing that we were offered. All said we had a great experience and enjoying the vehicle.
