Dr. Shadid was extremely helpful and caring. He spent a significant amount of time just getting to know me and making me feel comfortable. Not once did I feel like he just wanted "to get it done quickly." He was able to answer all my questions regarding my chronic knee pain. I would certainly refer him to family/friends.

I was able to get right in to see the doctors after my accident. They were very competent and compassionate and gave me as much time as I needed to have all my questions answered, a rare thing with doctors these days!

Dr. Shadid got me in quick, and did a fantastic job treating me. I was better in just a few weeks. I would recommend him to all my friends and family.

I had shoulder replacement surgery from Dr. Shadid. After several months of therapy he informed me that no amount of therapy would do any good since the implant was too large! He never told me how this happened-simply walked out of the office and left me and the staff staring at the computer on the counter showing the overlarge implant. He said it would have to be taken out and replaced! I was shocked and decided that he was not going to do it. I went to Loyola where I discovered there was also

I saw Dr. Shadid for a number of years for treatment of a chronic knee issue. He ended up being unable to fix the problem, but I doubt it was his fault -- the issue is complex and confusing, and has since stumped leading orthopedic doctors. His office is full of the most compassionate, caring people I've ever seen at a doctor. He is very personal and comforting; his bedside manner is the best I've ever known in a doctor. He will even spend half an hour just explaining something to a patient.
