I'm glad I found Hype Hair Salon, having moved to oakland just a month ago I thought finding a great salon would be difficult. I went on yp and saw great (and not so great) reviews, but took a leap of faith and booked an appointment last minute and they took me in the next morning. Very friendly staff, and great ambience in the salon. My stylist was Emmily and she was wonderful- attentive, focus and she talked to me through the process of my cut and balayage. Overall, great salon and affordable.
