This place is a treasure. I'm there several times a week to get the things I need for making dinner. Fine meats, and all the other ingredients you need to make fine meals. Pro Tip: the fine meats make people think I'm a better cook than I actually am. They are always happy to see me - even if I arrive 90 seconds before 'closing'.
This place is by far the worst place to get a New York strip. I paid good money for steaks filled with tendons and fat..not even a quarter of it was edible..very disappointed
They made me some stuffed pork chops yesterday. I took them home and cooked them, per their instructions, and they were absolutely delicious.
Had chicken pot pie tonight! It was fantastic! Excellent flavor, chunks of chicken and vegetables that tasted like vegetables. It was like eating out without having to leave home.
