My family and I really enjoyed our stay at this resort. However I was a little disturbed during our stay. I prepayed for the reservation in full through expedia but at check in the host said I would be charged full price on check out. I contacted expedia will my reservation number and explanation of this check in experience and didn't get a response. At checkout it was the expected charge minus what I paid expedia. I don't know what transpired with the charges but I don't appreciate the host threatening me with another bill ... read more
Very difficult making reservations. Some things in rooms are rundown. No fan in bathroom to take out shower humidity. Parking is difficult. Location is island opposite of Mallory Square and majority of restaurants and all retail. No gym, no bike rentals. Rooms are very noisy at night (cabinets slamming, furniture moving on tile.)
Pool and surrounding area is good. Exterior is well maintained. The shower needs a line for drying clothes. Road is noisy but only 4-6 planes are heard per day from airport at the back door.
I booked this resort using Travelocity as the price was unbeatable on ANY other platform incl direct. We booked this as a senior trip for our daughter & a group of friends. 3 adults/six 17 year olds/2 reservations. Great place to stay if going with friends or family. The rooms were nice size and clean. There’s also grills you could use. A 15 minute drive to any attractions in old town area uber probably $15-20 which might be cheaper than parking. Next door to the airport.
