Hyatt, but no Regency Comfortable hotels with decent rooms, but I was surprised that this was a Regency-the may need an update or two. The pool area was nice, but kind of small. The bar staff was not the nicest-if you're a loud group, I'd suggest going elsewhere to have drinks or going outside.

FANCY hotel If you are willing to shell out BIG bucks for a room and have the desire to splurge this is the best in town. It is very elegant. They have a jazz band that plays, mirrored elevators, and oh so wonderful rooms. It is located right smack in the center of Austins night life.

Best Hotel in Austin This world class hotel sits conveniently on the corner of Brazos and 6th street in Austin. The service is amazing, the rooms are always very nice, and the atmosphere is always great. The only thing that kept me from giving this property 5 stars is the parking. There is no parking garage attached to the hotel, so your only option is to valet your vehicle at $17 a night unless you want to trek across downtown austin with your bags (ok, the garage is only across the street, but the valet service should be w... read more

High Class Hotel My husband suprised me by getting us a room here for our anniversary. This place sure made me feel like I was being wined and dined in high class. The food was incredible as was the posh surroundings. It was nice to actually be on 6th street and having entertainment right there.

upscale Everyone must go to the Driskell, if only to have a drink. The ambiance and regal feeling of this grand historic hotel takes you over the minute you hit the doors. The food is superb in the restraunt. The rooms are decorated flawlessly, making you feel like royalty. This is worth the money--expensive!

Driskill Hotel This is a great hotel. It is a little old, but it is also pretty elegant. The staff here are great and were courteous; the service here was very impressive. The lobby is very beautiful and has great artwork. It was definitely my favorite part of the hotel. Overall, I enjoyed my stay here and can't wait to go back.

It is even more beautiful in person The Driskell Hotel is a historic building in downtown Austin, right on 6th St. It is very upscale, an has a restuarant inside, which serves wonderful food. The rooms are very beautiful, and the staff makes sure every detail is taken care of. Even if you aren't staying the night, it is worth checking out to see what buildings were built like long ago.

Nice hotel, bad location This is a very nice hotel and conference facility. The rooms are very clean, well decorated, and there is a nice restaurant. The new construction in downtown Miami is overwhelming. It shows no sign of letting up soon and makes walking travel very difficult.

Nice hotel The Hyatt Regency is a really nice and comfortable hotel. The rooms are spacious and clean. The staff at the hotel was very helpful and friendly. I attended a conference at the Hyatt and our meeting space was comfortable as well.There are a restaurant, a bar, and a cafe in the hotel. The food and drinks are overpriced, but the mojitos are almost worth their price tag.
