Was here on a business trip accommodated by USPS. Staff was nice, room was great and I liked the location. My only issue was being charged $6 for a bottle of water, myself or my guest did not drink. I contacted about this a couple times until I forgot but it didn't get resolved.
Please don't stay here. We got checked in and noticed the hallways smell very musty. We got to our room and it smelled horribly of cat urine. I requested they move us and they did. The furniture is dated (scuffed up), carpets are stained, the fold out couch sheet is dirty, the mini fridge is loud. The pool water is cloudy and filthy. My main concern - my 9 year old was taking a "not so hot" shower (the water could barely get warm) and in the middle of showering, the water turned ice cold on him. This hotel’s excellent location was its strongest asset, and I’ll credit the comfortable mattress as well. Unfortunately, the constant noise throughout the nights made it impossible to get a decent night’s sleep, effectively negating any comfort the bed provided. The property shows clear signs of wear and tear. Cleanliness standards were poor, and the overall condition felt worn and shabby. The fitness center had broken equipment and was oppressively hot. Service was alright. Don't really have much to say about the staff. They were friendly. The location is ideal and perfect for sporting events with a cute strip of bars/restaurants within walking distance. My last time visiting this hotel was 12 years ago and it was great. This visit was a total let down. And it was all due to cleanliness of the room. Furniture needs a reboot (trashed and replaced). The couch cushions were flattened by excessive use.
