Unfortunately this Hyatt Place did not meet customer service expectations. I booked the hotel through work and was told that I couldn’t use my FDIC accredited Visa because the company (Ramp) isn’t accredited by the BBB. Brittany at the front desk was unhelpful and kept changing the reason why she wouldn’t accept the card, first claiming that it wasn’t FDIC approved and then coming up with the BBB reason. Near shopping mall. Rooms seemed very basic
Our room was a mix of air freshener scent that was trying to cover a musty like smell. The a/c is outdated and extremely loud. The showers don’t have a full door, so you have to be cautious so as not to splash water out into the bathroom. Also, the layout isn’t that great. My brother and sister in law’s room had bed bugs. They had no other rooms available here and were up past midnight trying to find a different hotel. They also washed all their clothes to be safe. My experience with World of Hyatt in this instance was highly disappointing. Despite booking three rooms several days in advance and confirming late check-in, one of my reservations was abruptly cancelled on the day of arrival while I was already mid-travel with my family.
