Check the expectation dates on your groceries if ordering online! We've had multiple items be given to us and expire same day or have already expired. So frustrating to grab an item a day later to cook and find it's already moldy 🤢
Please train your employees on how to properly bag groceries. My raw meat is constantly in with things it shouldn't be mixed with. I've had heavy produce in with bread. I could go on all day. Plus they have piled heavier bags on top of chips and bread in my cart more times then not. They just throw the bags into the cart so when I am loading them into my car usually half my products have fallen out of bags into the bottom of the cart. Been shopping at Hy-Vee for many many years! I absolutely love this store for many reasons! All staff in every department is very friendly and they always have a smile on their face! I love walking through the store and have many employees call me by my first name! It makes me feel good to know they respect me as a customer and take the time to say hello!
Brandon Parrish - he's a treasure
I have to say the Hy-Vee pharmacy is awesome. Friday they went above and beyond to help us get my husband's prescription, our little pharmacy closed Friday at noon and doesn't open till Monday. He needed the prescription and they made phone calls to talk to doctors in Iowa City and they were able to get it all handled and get him the medicine he needed. So we had a very good experience with them. On a 1 to 5, 5 being the best I give them a 5. Thank you for your help!
Always friendly and stocked well
sure wish they'd stock their shelves. the last five~ or so times I've been in, nothing I've needed has been refilled.
