I ordered a 1/2 pound of prosciutto today from the deli. When I got home and opened it I was floored. It was sliced to absolute perfection. The likes of which I have not seen since I moved here from New York. It made it taste even more delicious than it already is. We have an old expression from back in the day “I want it sliced so thin that you can see through it”! Well Karl, you are a master and went way above and beyond that. And I thank you!!
Today, I went in to pick up a cake for a 4 year old. The cake was barely decorated, it looked like 3 circles with red edging. The rest of the cake was plain white. The store gave me a bit of a discount and tried to fix the cake. They also offered to deliver the cake. I thought ok cool. Well, their 15 minute fix turned into a lot longer and it took them an hour to deliver it. We had 15 minutes to have cake in our alloted time space.
