Had dinner a few nights ago at the Market Grill. Two stars because the food was ok, but service was awful: one star at best. Coffee was lukewarm - artificial sweetener in generous supply but had to ask for real sugar multiple times - then no bread & butter plates were provided when bread basket was brought to our table, so we had to ask for those too, and when they came one was visibly dirty. I love shopping at this store ... everyone is always so friendly and helpful. If you need to find something, they not only tell you where it is ... they take you right to it. I've also done a couple of limited hour sales where prices were fabulous. I am amazed at how organized and prepared they are for the onslaught of shoppers. I was in and out in less than 30 minutes. Even had all the checkouts open and I didn't wait over a couple of minutes to get checked out and on my way. HyVee, you're doing it all right!
Great grocery with special events & products. The buffets at the restaurant are consistently tasty. Always an experience!
Your negative comments towards farms is disrespectful. Maybe your pr people need to go to a farm and learn how rough it is. Fuck you.
I purchased 2 loaves of bread and got home to find out they both had some mold. :( Contacted the store and I had 2 new loaves of bread delivered to my door within a couple of hours. Plus the nice lady that delivered the bread then delivered 2 boxes of cookies the next day for my kiddos. This is just another reason I love Hy-Vee, excellent customer service! :) :)
