I used to really like this Hy Vee, after my recent experience at the bakery, I won't be returning. I ordered a cake for my son's birthday. The cake had a huge crack on top. They"fixed" it with frosting. When we tried to serve it, it was cracked all they way through, dry and inedible. They did not charge me for the cake..but I basically got nothing for nothing. It wasted my time with an extra trip and basically ruined the cake part of his birthday.
Beautiful store...really like the beer and wine selection,cheese,and meat. Friendly helpful staff. THANKS.
I was in on Saturday for an early morning shopping run. I needed breakfast and thought I'd try the breakfast options there. The staff was great! and the food was wonderful! My skillet was more than worth the price I paid for it (which was in range with other surrounding restaurants) and tasted great :)
I was SO happy to see that Hy-Vee (Village Dr) is now carrying a wider variety of the available flavors of Angie's Boomchickapop popcorn! I have been looking everywhere, but have had to order directly online. So happy you are carrying the special flavors locally now. �

I was in the motel right across the parking lot and dropped in to check out the Deli. - It was great, and fast too! The menu was wide ranging, so that the Cub Scout Den of 7 boys and their leader right after me were swiftly served with their choices, snarfed up their food and were ready for their guided tour!
