The employees are always friendly and helpful. Grocery shopping with a little one is so much easier here thanks to the fun carts and free goodies for kids. I always walk out of the store impressed with the customer service!
We ordered a "fresh turkey" from your store, EXTREMELY disappointed when we picked up last night. Once we got home it was still frozen!!! How is a "fresh turkey" frozen?? For the crazy price we paid, I could NOT believe it was frozen! We picked up at the meat department, employee didn't even say a word! I will be calling the store on Friday and hope to speak to a manager. I can only hope they will at least give us the price difference between a fresh to a frozen turkey.
A bit frustrated with my trip to this hyvee today, I usually like going out of my way to this hyvee because it always seems you get the best selection, better quality control on products on the floor. Today my spouse and I decided to get some of the fresh made today doughnuts. We selected one I think they called lemon burst it's powdered with some lemon sauce and fresh fruit ontop. Extremely upset with Hy-Vee on "O" street right now. They eliminated the Grand Buffet option from their menu. I was fasting for a blood draw and went there for lunch afterwards to find this out. I already had a headache from not eating anything yet. They told me the only all-you-can-eat options are now Asian, salad bar, soup and salad bar or Itallian. I am so irritated. I am going to make a triple layer 10" German Chocolate Cake but this HyVee decided to stop carrying the Baker's Sweet German Chocolate baking bar. I asked a manger who kindly even looked in the back storage room. She apologized but said that "it was a slow mover so they decided not to carry it anymore." Now, I ask you. What moron made that decision?
