My husband and I visited the Market Grill tonight. I went in with high expectations and was sorely disappointed. The service was great but the food was mediocre at best. I ordered the nachos and they were soggy and swimming in cheese sauce, the lettuce was scant and the chicken was in huge chunks that couldn't be picked up with the chips. My concern was addressed by the management but I won't be returning there to eat.
I have shopped at the Blue Springs Hy-Vee store since before it moved to the current location. My only complaint had always been the produce is expensive and not fresh. I used to enjoy breakfast where I could get eggs, a breakfast meat, toast and coffee for a nice price and have a decent meal. This morning I ate in the new Market Grill Restaurant. Market Grill Review- Prices seemed a little high for the quality received. The crab dip was "okay", the mac & cheese cheeseburger was also just "okay". However, my wife's Hy- Waiian burger was excellent! Unfortunately, the wife ordered a bottle of white wine for the special of half off on Wednesdays. Too much money for what you get. Worst Prime Rib ever, tough and Cold! Best part of the whole thing was the mini cinnamon rolls. Won't be back.

Just ordered lunch. I order Monte Cristo & FF. Sandwich Ok, but I didnt get the apple jam or whatever is supposed to come on the side and the FF are terrible. Old, cold and over cooked. My friend got the Hawaiian burger & FF. Maybe a suggestions for to go for that would be to put the salsa on the side because her bun was so soggy she couldnt even pick up the burger and or course old, cold terrible FF. Not very impressed with 1st order
