Just tried to buy a package of chicken that was perhaps devil chicken. I say devil chicken as it was apparently dipped in brimstone before packaging. Price Chopper just opened a new store across the street. Hello Price Chopper!
I will no longer be shopping at Blue Springs Hy-Vee. This is the last time I have gotten spoiled food, or past the 'best buy' date. Yesterday, I purchased some provolone cheese that I opened today and was nice and moldy. You need to teach your employees proper food handling and first in first out.
Ordinarily I would recommend the butcher case to everyone, but today we bought 4 stuffed Anaheim peppers (enough for our family, the weight wasn't the issue). We ended up with 3 peppers the same size and one that's a sliver of a pepper. I don't know why it was even "stuffed." We will likely buy another time but I'll watch what's wrapped much more carefully.
We enjoyed MARKET GRILLE the first few times we dined there. The last two times have been huge disappointments with long waits and incorrect orders. On Sunday, they were so short-staffed (and truthfully, not that busy) that we were there nearly two hours. Our order came out wrong, and one salad never came out at all because "they were behind and had to cut up the salad back there." Aisles online service is amazing. Been using it for well over a year. Cassandra Nabors there never fails to make sure everything is perfect for me. I love not having to go in and shop for my groceries anymore! Keep up the good work!
Wanda catered a family wedding for us over the weekend at a venue in Grain Valley, Missouri. Her attention to detail, and hard work are so important to this HyVee location. She is well known in the community as someone who puts in 100%, always! The food was excellent, but Wanda's service is what really stands out. Penny in the floral department was also a big help, the flowers were beautiful! Thank you so much for everything. I always know if Wanda is involved, there is nothing to worry about!
I love blue springs hyvee. The meat, produce sections are the best in the area. I took 2 stars away because of the parking lot. It's horrible. Especially on holiday weekends when everyone and their brothers are there.
