The annual chili grinding open house at Huy Fong Foods was a fantastic experience. We got to see David Tran the Willy Wonka of hot sauce at the front door during the lion dance welcome. The photo corner with giant inflatable Siracha bottles was a hoot. The factory was spotless and every single employee was polite, helpful and obviously proud to work there. The chilli grinding your was EPIC! We had so much fun. I had no idea the process was so involved. And there was any doubt they definitely use real peppers.
We had an awesome experience at the chili grinding and touring the factory today. If you love your sriracha, you've got to visit the factory, and the gift shop. I love, love, love that the gift shop has a wide variety ofproducts, from edible to wearable to decorative. And the sriracha ice cream? Delicious!
