Walked in and bartender told us that we shouldn’t be here because roads were bad told us to go home. She rolled her eyes when we ordered drinks and I asked about drinks and what was on tap and gave me a one word answer, didn’t tell me any other options. Was in a very bad mood to my table and we all got a bad vibe. Getting good food and service here has become a crapshoot. We have been going there since we moved to Fremont in 2014. When we are in the mood to take a chance on service and food quality, we go there. Sometimes both are very good, other times we have to wait forever for service and the food tastes as if it has been cooked ahead and held too long. The wings we ordered today were overcooked and lacking in flavor. The Ruebens are consistently tasty and hot as are the fries.
Good food in the past, however the last few expeirences have been atrocious. Soggy fries burnt burgers undercooked wings...and to top it off Ordered off of their online menu from their website. I went to pick it up and my bill was Over 10$ more than what their website stated. While the manager was nice, she did not fix the issue. Claiming it's the owners that won't fix the website. Best wing place in Fremont. All the food is really good actually. Cold beer and great service. My favorite place to eat and drink.

This was the second time we went to Fire Door. The first time it was so busy with college kids that there was no place to sit, so we left. This time it wasn't very busy at all so we sat outside. It took about 20 minutes before we could get our order placed And then it took another hour before We got our food!! Our appetizers came after we got our wings!! The waitress and the cashier both apologized and said there had been an issue with the cook. The wings and beer were great, although we had to hunt down our own napkins afte... read more

Place looked great. Appetizer was disgusting. My husband ordered hot beef and mashed potatoes which was the special and the potatoes were fake and so dried out they were practically powder again. I have a dozen bbq boneless wings. I go to bite into the first one and it was fridge temp! I finally got the waitress to come over to get my plate then she brings it back after they microwaved it. Beyond disgusting.
