Did not like from jump start. His personality was flat and I've worked around Dr's all my life. I know a Dr that has no personality. He act like he was scared to touch me. I wouldn't recommend him to anyone. He was more interested in talking about MRI's and injections in joints. At my age, I'm not doing no injections in joints when you have Arthritis all over. I told him he is a joke. I meant every word of that! His person that came in the room was flat. No patients in office a all.
Do NOT come to Dr. Mourtada shopping for a quick fix, such as pain meds and other controlled substances. He will do what is best and most appropriate for you given the circumstances. Kind, compassionate, knowledgeable, all words that describe him aptly.
He is a wonderful and kind person. I can't believe anyone would have anything bad to say about him.
This doctor errs to the side of caution and is very strict in following rules. He tries different way to reduce pain. I am glad he's my doctor.
I'm stil a patient of his.and have been for 3 months.I've done my part in helping manage my pain but still need dr mourtada to do his part.my pain requires a certain medication and certain MG and daily quantity but Dr mourtada refuses to meet that requirement. Claiming the Dea has a cap on oxycodone scripts which I know for a fact isn't true.I've never abused my meds nor wil I ever do that.I express to him I need quality of life but I feel 100% that he is toying with my pain.
Dr. Mourtada is one of the kindest and most compassionate medical professionals I have ever met. On my first visit, I didn't feel an immediate connection with him and then I considered what type of specialist he is. Whether we like it or not, our society has become a drug-fueled people. A PAIN MANAGEMENT physician has an awesome responsibility in treating people with chronic pain. Dr. Mourtada is very aware and quite careful when prescribing these potentially fatal medications. There are RULES.
