Delicious pasta dishes – When I first went to Hurry Curry, I'd have to say I was a bit disappointed by their curry dishes- they were pretty watered down for my taste. But when I went a second time, I ordered a chicken pasta dish, and it was very tasty. The space is a bit cramped and the parking is pretty difficult (it's a small lot, so you might have to find parking in the neighborhood), but it's a decent place to go if you're not planning to order a curry dish.
Quality of food has declined – I came here the other night, and I felt the food has declined tremendously. I ordered my usual fav pork cutlet curry and the pork was dry, overcooked, and rubbery. The curry lacked flavor. My friend ordered the chicken curry and it was pretty bland. I was quite disappointed.
Good value – Fast. Cheap. Good. Dependable. And close to my house! The only thing i don't like is having to valet my car to pick up food.
Good Curry!!!! – I come here often enough to tell you that this place has a mighty fine chicken curry. The sauce is perfect, and the slow cooked chicken in the curry is so tender and moist. Very reasonably priced and your stomach will be satisfied. I recommend this place to anybody who likes good curry.
Great Japenese Curry – this is a great place for people who like curry but might not be an expert. I thought the food was great and i am very picky on Japenese food. I would recommend the Tokyo curry, but the portion of this meal is smaller than the others. Also top it off with the green tea ice cream to make the meal complete. Almost perfect... – I've been eating Japanese curry for years now and can somewhat tell the difference between good curry and not-so-good curry. The quality of the chicken katsu is the best in the area; I recommend it more than any other place here. The curry in other establishments is a BIT better, but Hurry Curry comes close. A bit nicer inside than other places. Free valet parking.
It made my dead grandma's mouth water... – I've been to Tokyo and this place offers pretty damn good Japanese Curry. My only complaint is since they have gotten bigger you sometimes don't get the really good slow cooked chicken curry they used to always have. Regardless of the changes, this is highly recommended for any Curry lover out there. I usually order take-out but the service is fine here also. Excellent in every way! – I love this restaurant! This has to be one of the best katsu restaurants in the whole city of los angeles (or maybe in the area). The chicken cutlet curry is the ultimate best dish at this restaurant. Second has to be the chicken pasta (if some people dont like the pasta noodles, try the chicken pasta sub rice). Hurry...to Hurry Curry!!! – Great lunch spot even if crowded at times...the curry is excellent and it fills you up..My favorite? The chicken katsu (breaded chicken breast) curry by far...delicious!!
