The staff was very kind and helpful! The sandwich was good, the muffins and cookies were yummy and the Raspberry Bomb cake is incredible!!
This is an excellent bakery!! I just found out about it yesterday and stopped in, I made myself stop at 12 items but they all looked so delicious I could have gotten way more! The bagels I got were delicious and the sweets I got for my co-workers was greatly enjoyed. I'll be sure to add this as a "must stop" whenever I'm in Marquette again!!!
I am very disappointed by the birthday cake I ordered for my son's party. I wanted a St Patrick's day theme. I got a white cake with a few poorly made shamrocks on the top. I wanted the cake to be colorful, and when I ordered it I was under the impression that it would be colorful and have more decorations. Even his smash cake is very lacking.
We are never disappointed when visiting! Everything is fresh and delicious from the coffee, donuts, scones, cupcakes, cookies, sandwiches and loaves of bread. With a student at NMU, this is always our last stop on the way out of town to load up with goodies for the trek home.
My family visits the U.P. every year but this was the first time we made a stop at Huron Mountain Bakery, and WOW am I glad we did. By far some of the best tasting and best looking baked goods I have ever had! In fact, they were so good that we came here 3 days in a row! Each day I tried a new donut but had Chai every time. I hope you guys deliver to Boston, MA bc I know exactly what I want for my Birthday again next year! Keep up the amazing work and customer service, this is a MUST stop for anyone visiting Marquette.
I was disappointed as was my sister in the cakes for her grandsons birthday..she was quoted 19.99 for the bigger cake and was told they couldn't give her a price on the small 6 inch cake but that it would be cheaper than the 19.99 but yet her bill was almost 40 dollars! What kind of people do you have working for you that nobody is on the same page? Won't be coming back and won't recommend you to anyone either
Last year my birthday cake was screwed up which tons of people came New Year's Eve party!!! Then my husband called ahead for this year; chocolate cake with cookies and cream filling inside, topped with lots of chocolate frosting cuz I love frosting... He picked it up tonight one layer chocolate cake topped with cookies and cream cake layer and NO FROSTING ON IT OR ANYTHING BESIDES NAKED CAKE!!!! Still charged $100 are you kidding me! ������
