He was my doctor 18 years ago. He was supposed to deliver my child but was on vacation. His partner at the time did. Dalla Riva. When I went back for my checkup they were no longer partner's. I wanted to discuss about my traumatic delivery. Nobody would give me answers.
Dr. Hurford is great, makes you feel so comfortable and cared for. Goes out of his way to make every patient feel like he has known you a lifetime.
Dr. Hurford has been my dr for 16 years. He took me under his wing and guided me through a personally difficult journey. He was attentive, patient (waited for the whole answer before cutting me off), and gentle. When my first daughter was born and everyone was rushing over to her he came to my bedside and made sure I was ok, told me how good I did, and made sure I had all I needed before he left. Genuinely caring doctor.
Dr. Hurford is great! He delivered my son in July and was great all throughout my pregnancy. He explained things well, answered all my questions (even the ones I felt silly asking) and always maintained a professional presence. He was very laid back and would tell me his thoughts and without pushing me one way or another, let me make my own decisions. I would absolutely go to him again if my husband and I have another child.
My mother and mother-in-law now both go to him.
If you or your loved one suffers from an invisible disability, Dr. Hurford is not a good choice for care. He would hold up his hand and stop one from speaking. A great way for a Dr. to miss vital information. I thought My wife would be less anxious without me in the exam room. So I activated her legal memory aid (Digital recorder/GPS) for her last office visit. I was enraged to hear that she was not even given the most basic of considerations. No one vulnerable should be placed in his care.
