My hubby had a hernia surgery. It was supposed to be outpatient but when they found out he had sleep apnea the doctor had him stay overnight in IMU to put him on a CPAP and monitor oxygen levels. The staff was fabulous in day surgery and IMU!!
This visit was quick unlike other visits I've had to the ER I was in and out in 45 minutes, I was treated for streptococcus which they did a swab and determined that. I've had visits in the past that took forever and the staff was not very attentive.
Went in with what I felt was ruptured ovarian cyst. It was indeed a cyst but not ruptured. They were thorough, polite and professional. Many of the staff were exceptionally personable. Made several procedures such as an IV and female internal ultrasound a less troublesome procedure. There was no wait when I arrived. I was taken into triage and right to a room.
1 hour wait for my appointment..not good..tiring from not having enough sleep:((
