The House At 61 Steinwehr Ave Was Not Here Yet During The Civil War Battle Of Gettysburg, But Was Build About 1900, Yes It Is Small Inside, But We Make Great Use Of The Space. We are CLOSED FOR THE SEASON FROM THANKSGIVING, DECEMBER, JANUARY AND FEBRUARY, REOPENING IN March.

Recommendedlarge orders of food. Came back for the cheesesteak and fries. First had them 2 yrs. ago, and had to come back. Yummy comfort food!

I'm sitting here watching Food Network. The show is "The Best Thing I Ever Ate - Sandwiches". So I was thinking about the best sandwich I ever ate. Its HANDS DOWN a steak and cheese at Hunt's. If you're lucky enough to find yourself in Gettysburg. don't ever miss a chance to eat the best sandwich ever.
decided to stop here while we were in the area and after checking out the reviews...the food was outstanding and reasonably priced..chicken cheesesteak was great according to my fiancee..I had the regular cheesesteak which I can say is on the level of Pat's in Philly...really good!! also got the bacon cheese fries which had great taste.. we will definitely be back

Finally stopped by today. Great cheesesteaks, grilled ham and Swiss on pretzel, and fries! We sat on the patio/sidewalk and had a great evening! Will be doing this on the regular!
