They put holds on deposits for unreasonable amounts of time. The money had already been taken out of the depositing account but they continue to hold the money to "make sure funds are available". After 2 separate calls where I received 2 separate dates for the hold to end, they are still holding my money. They do not answer disputes in a timely manner and their customer service line representatives cannot assist in any way. Do NOT bank with Huntington, the worst bank I've ever had. I have so many problems with them, and can never get a resolution. Their customer service is horrible and gets you absolutely NO help. I have been trying to close my account there for months now and still have gotten no closer. The incompetence of this company is embarrassing.

I entered bank to withdraw money out of my checking, only to be refused by the bank manager due to some discretional policy. I asked several questions and explained I could currently withdraw more money from the atm, then what she was saying I was allowed to do from the counter. I go to a different location and they allow me to withdraw the amount of money I requested. I asked them did they have any policy limiting what I just did, and they said it was none. I am the recipient of direct racism from Huntington Bank. I have a high net worth, high credit score, mortgages with plenty of money in the bank and no missed payments, overdrafts or late fees. I am a model customer that any bank would be proud to have. During a closing for a business building, I was asked in a rather snarky manner from a white Huntington bank closing person if I was there as a security person, in front of my real estate agent and others in the closing meeting, which was inappropriate and directly racist sin... read more

Been with hunington for 10 years. Went in for loan. Was denied for a 8k loan with a 730 credit score and low debt to income ratio. The denial was a blessing in discised. Went to buckeye credit union and was approved for same unsecured loan with a better interest rate of 7.5%. Buckeye will now be my new bank. My wife and I will close all accounts with hunington in the next 2 weeks. The kicker is that ************************* (Banker) was very unprofessional with the handling of the our denial and the return of our documents.... read more

I don't know what happened to our escrow account money but it's been almost two months I've been calling about money that should have gone back into our account and Huntington continually transfers us around and still no solution. So frusterating.

NO STARS. I have financed equipment through ********* Capital and they sold one of my leases to Huntington. I will never do business with either one of them because of it. Huntington doesn't answer their phone, I have asked for payoff quotes and they refuse to give them. I have asked to change the account my ACH comes from, they refuse to send over the paperwork. There are no online options to view your account, or to make payments. THEY ARE HORRIBLE - I cannot believe the BBB gives them an A+. BBB you should adjust your rec... read more

I have been alerted that I have 3 different due dates on my auto loan when last month I established a an automatic due date.There is no way to reach this Bank to discuss this situation as 1) they refuse to answer **************** line, 2) they never call back when promised, and 3) appears to have an unlisted Corporate headquarters to try to talk to a human..So, beware of dealing with this bank as they have absolutely no regard for their customers which is a source of great frustration. They lost a payment of ours that went on for over a year, we were charged late fees and it was reported to our credit as a late payment. After being harassed, they finally figured it out. I will never bank or get a mortgage through them again. They are terrible! No one would open an investigation for me, it took numerous hours and arguments on the phone. They just kept telling me I missed a payment, when I knew I did not. So disappointed in them.
