I deposited a ******** check. This is not the first ******** check i have deposited here. I went to log in to see if the check had cleared and I could not log in. Then it would not let me change my password. I had received ZERO communication about what I am about to write... I called THEM, and was told they decided to close ALL of my accounts because they deemed the check to be fraudulent. NOTE: I have deposited with them from this bank multiple times. Terrible bank. the app is constantly going down or having issues. I've had nothing but a horrible time banking with Huntington. Multiple times my cards just stopped working. They just suspended my debit card with absolutely 0 notification no email or anything. And I can't get any help until they call me tomorrow. So I have no access to my money.

Awful customer service!!! I HONESTLY BELIEVE ******************** ARE SCAMMERS OR THEY HAVE SCAMMERS WORKING WITHIN THEIR TEAM!! customer care pffft , they neglect their customers and make them starve for weeks with no explanation whatsoever! froze my account without any warning, i get told multiple things by different people,multiple dates,after a series of failures and lies on their part over a check that was deposited and released off hold when it hit my account, but they still had me frozen out of my account with no warn... read more

Absolutely terrible bank to work with---and I used to work at one! I'm only 24 yrs old and I feel like an old crabby person writing this review, but seriously! EVERY month since I have had my car loan with them (6), I have had issues. I set up my loan on auto-pay. It's easy and I don't have to worry about it, right? Wrong. Three of the six months, I got charged twice (over $800)--their solution was to mail me a check for the refund of one month. Ok, thanks, that will be awhile, but it's a solution. I had an account with TCF when Huntington took them over. After dealing with them a couple of months I with **** ALL my money and closed my account. Months later I was still getting statements. I call twice to the home office and even sent them back the statement. I've tried every thing, still sending statements with monthly maintenance fee. PLEASE warn people about Huntington Bank

I concur with all the complaints regarding being a long time customer of local bank TCF and now just absolutely loathing Huntington National Bank The biggest issue right from the get go and still is an issue is when using their credit card to make purchases. Most places force me to use the card as a debit card so I have to enter my pin. Never had this issue with TCF.Now I am in the process of closing my Huntington accounts so I am transferring money to a local credit union. More issues with Huntington. The absolute worst bank in the world. I wish I had withdrawn my money before TCF became Huntington. What a nightmare to deal with! I was planning to keep an account at Huntington but transfer some money into an account with ENT. It is next to impossible to get a hold of a real person and when you do, they are not helpful and they all tell you different things. The *** at both locations in ***********, ** are rarely available to withdraw money. Signs up say available 24 hours and that is not true.

Awful customer service. Series of failures on their part caused us to incur hundreds of dollars in expenses and even after submitting a survey they sent ** AND multiple emails directly to a branch asking for somebody to discuss how this went so wrong - NOTHING. Complete radio silence, no attempt to make any of it right, no real explanation for their actions or lack of reaction. Would never recommend working with this bank to anyone.
