Awesome staff, Kudos to Jerry in sales. One of the Best places in scenic New York to get married in, we did (Sept 2017). The best terrain for skiing and boarding.
I had a great time at Hunter thanks to Richard Hoyte, an instructor there. He is so generous and an amazing teacher! He took time out of his day to give me an unscheduled lesson, and it was the most I’ve ever learned about snowboarding. Not to mention, he’s just extremely nice and fun to be with! Definitely one of the best and recommend to all. Thanks, Rick!

Love this place, been skiing here for years now. It has vibe and such a great hill. Great people all over, great skiing, what more can you ask for :-)
Does hunter Mtn have power today. Heard Wyndham is blacked out ?
I was shocked by the conditions last weekend (President's Day Weekend). Lifts closed, horrendous lines, disorganized, poorly marked runs. Not to mention, I was on a double-black that had sticks and dirt coming up because there was simply not enough snow. It was ice and dirt. I've been skiing my entire life, and I've never seen anything like it. I will not be returning.
These people took my $85 with a straight face and without sign or mention that the main lift was running at half capacity and creating hour long lines, that the lift to the left of it was somehow also broken and not spinning period, and that if you could endure the lines to make it to the west face the 3 runs there were 3 sheets of ice. I drove 4 hours for this so I tried to endure it but when I gave up they refused me a refund, offered me a voucher to come another day, which I had zero interest in, and I walked away. The mountain had bad luck with the timing of their main lift breaking but they were very honest about the status of the lift and posted updates constantly on their website! Happy to see the lift is up and running again!
