I owe my entire experience at Hunter Mountain last weekend to Mike Andrasak, one of the instructors. It was my first ever time skiing and I was having a tough time during one of his lessons, so he stayed after the lesson was over and worked with me (VERY patiently) for about an hour! He was informative, helpful with his instructions, and very caring! We had an amazing time. Very accommodating for beginners and even those who may only be accompanying someone and not skiing. Lots of on site stores if you forgot any gear and a nice range of food to choose from if you’re making a day of skiing. The lesson instructors were patient for both kids and adults, and explained everything thoroughly while keeping it fun. Can’t wait to visit again!

Tom Petty has a way of saying how I feel about that Mountain - " I'm In Love " Since my Irish Coffee at My first Octoberfest in 2008, I have been addicted to the energy there. Hunter Mountain never has an off season - year round that Mountain has something to make me smile, and every time it's time to go home, I can't wait until the next time I get to come back. This is the perfect place to come if you want a winter getaway . They have outdoor heated pool n jacuzzi . We can ski in out of our room !!
