While the food here has been decent, the service (especially with delivery) is very unreliable. If I were to base this review on food alone, I would give it three to three and a half stars. On service, I would go less than one. Generally, we are diners that order our food in. On multiple occasions Hunan River Place has had errors, and until tonight, were willing to correct them. Had what they called 'Salt & Pepper' it was soooooo dry there wasn't any kind of sauce. Would think twice before I order at this place again. For what I paid, there should of been some type of sauce.
Food is great, portion size is great. Everything I have tried has been great.
Hunan Riverplace is great! Lunch is always fresh and the staff courteous with speedy service. I have become a regular and have tried a variety of dishes that never disappoint. Clearly a bargain and a favorite as this place is frequently buzzing with activity. I've also scored several freebies through their customer reward system. Highly recommend!
The crab puffs are usually good, but this time they were partially filled. So it tasted mostly like just a fried wrap. Kung pao chicken was ok.
