Stellar food. Caters to our venue, bands and events regularly. I’ve been lucky enough to be served by an owner and it was wonderful. Consistently a great decision.
I can't imagine condemning a place because of a 'bad bite'. I've eaten at Hunan a LOT and tried a wide variety of dishes. They're similar in build, but they vary in taste and style. It never gets boring. The Bi Bim Bop is the best! The Salt & Pepper Chicken is also delicious. Plus, they give such generous amounts of everything; evenTofu! Best Chinese in Austin have tried them all and this place hits a home run every time..Great staff as well always friendly and fast..Try it once and you will be hooked.
Hunan is great ... food is always fresh and hot !!! Customer Service is excellent . Best food in the area.
For the 2nd time hunan river place did not include something in my order. Instead of simply refunding me for the item (under $10) they said my only option was to wait for them to bring the item(s) (in rush hour from RP to Steiner) well by the tine they arrived we finished eating and had no desire to have the missing item(s) Very frustrating how they handle situations such as these considering how much business we give them
Hunan Riverplace is great! Always quick service, the food is always fresh, the owners are friendly and the staff is great! And the lunch is definitely worth the money! The dining room is a little small, but we mostly do take out anyways!
Great taste and good service. Love the Kung pao chicken!
