Nice property, fun time at the pool. Thanks for a good time.
We have visited each 4th of July for the last 7years. This year and last year we were not impressed. Last year we had a bike stolen so this year we borrowed theirs but the bell hop was quite difficult to work with. This year our room had issues, basically falling apart. Staff seemed overwhelmed by the extra people for the holiday and not as nice as in the past. Pleasant harbor location, convenient to Liberty Station, Old Town and Seaport Village. Room wad spacious, clean and comfortable. Hotel is Polynesian-themed like many of the 1960s-era properties in the area. On par with the Bahia, Dana, and Paradise Point.

We love Shelter Island and Humphreys is the place to stay. They have a lovely property with an excellent restaurant. We ate several meals there as well as room service. Live music in the lounge is an added benefit!
Liquid Blue is a top notch band! However their Roadie got drunk, out of control, and knocked an older woman down on the dance floor. More proactive bouncing may be in order.
