Great job Gretchen. I always look forward to her cleaning my teeth. She always does an excellent job and pays attention to detail. Sorry to say, but I'm selfish and only prefer her due to the years of great quality to detail she has proved to me.

There was only one thing that kind of bothered me . I kept getting all kinds of messages when my appointment was, which was fine, but I had to wait at least 20 minutes after my appointment time to get my teeth cleaned .
The open discussion about a particular tooth pain was appreciated.
Only issue is too many calls, texts and emails all saying the same thing. I need to schedule my care based on insurance allowances and financial status. I don't need reminders that I'm past due for a cleaning multiple times. Can I manage these settings on my own? If so please tell me how then the whole thing will be perfect. I share all the time how much I love the old style/ small town care that is provided. Very thankful you are not like the big box dental offices that are popping up all over.
I love Humbert Road Dentistry. Dr. Ortman is the absolute best dentist I have ever been to. However, I wished there was a way to set up payments for people without dental ins. I also feel that the cost for my dental procedures are quite expensive. It makes it very difficult for retired, elderly patients to afford to use this wonderful dentist office. I only wished I did not have to apply for a loan just to get my much needed dental work. Last year alone I spent $16,000 plus. I now have a $14,000 plus bill to pay to finish my... read more
