Give the Barsic family their dog back!! The family has had Keyno for 7 years!! Shame on Stark County Humane Society for at least not stopping the adoption after the real owner showed up to let you know it was her dog and she has been looking for him. The adoption should have been put on hold until all the facts could be reviewed!!!!

If you guys seriously adopted out that poor woman's dog while she was standing there you are a bunch of heartless individuals. She had documentation (tags and photos) of the dog yet you allowed the animal to be adopted. If the family who adopted the dog happens to read this, you should do the right thing and return this poor family's dog.
Shame on you! Your staff and the family should be fixing this situation immediately!!! What kind of heartless person does this? Disgusting. Practices on so many levels!!! To the family who has this dog.... Please skip the shelter and do the right thing and give the dog back to the fily directly!
