RecommendedI adopted my awesome Maggie from HSSC 5 years ago. I think the way they care for the animals is the best anywhere. They make sure you’re able to spend time alone with the pet and be able to check out their personality. I live north of Tampa now, but I would go back to Sarasota to get another pet. I’ve recommended to everyone looking for that forever pet.

this is such an awesome place to find a furbaby. The staff worked with my husband and. I to find a match for me due to health issues . we adopted JASMINE (we call her Jazzy) she fits perfect and our 2 cats adore her. one sleeps by her. thanks again

I thoroughly enjoyed my time there and the staff were caring and kind. They have incredible patience and take pride in their no-kill policy.
Everyone was really nice and helpful!
They are not “humane”. They sent back to Miami DADE animal services two dogs and mdas IS a kill shelter. Shame on you. Nothing humane about that. 🤬🤬🤬
