I adopted a dog from there yesterday and got home and he is absolutely riddled with hookworms he should have never been let out of the facility like this

Hi there, I am so sorry he has worms, unfortunately, this is something that dogs can hide well. I can reassure you we do our due diligence to treat and prevent our dogs and cats from this. We do fecal test our animals, sometimes more than once, and they are given the appropriate dewormer for their age. We do also give our animals an anti-parasitic every 30 days.
