My experience at the humane society in Cutler Bay Area was absolutely disgusting. First of all, they were only servicing 2 people at a time and made everyone else line up outside. Second, the room where they examine the dog was filthy! Open syringes, trash filled up to the top, dog nail/cat nail clippings were on the floor, dust and dirt all over the floor. The place was just so unsanitary. And my dog didn’t even get spayed because the vet refused. She said my 90 pound Rottweiler was too “big” and she needed to lose 10 pound... read more
Absolutely amazing staff! I saved a dog that was getting attacked this morning on my way to work and after being turned away by an animal emergency clinic, the humane society was able to help and take the poor pup in for treatment. Thank you for all your help, I'm sure it wasn't easy dealing with me as I cried my eyes out. I really appreciate the hospitality.
Very freindly staff and volunteers. We loved that all the animals had names not munbers and everyone knew who everyone was as well as how the dogs were helped us immensely with our decision to bring home the perfect companion
