A/C is half fixed and want me to continue running my bill up which ended up being over $500 while the problem still hasn’t been addressed at all. I would strongly caution anyone considering Hulen Gardens to do thorough research before signing a lease. During my tenancy, I dealt with ongoing roach issues, slow responses to maintenance requests, unresolved plumbing problems, and general upkeep concerns that were reported multiple times. Communication with management was frustrating, and my move-out experience only added to the problems. Very terrible place. I wish I could rate even lower. The place is roach and fly infested, they won’t get it sprayed so you have to deal with it yourself. Theres feces all over the place outside due to stray cats. They’re extremely rude and delete documentation when confronted and they think it’s resolved. I saw my stuff was deleted but luckily I take pictures of all contact for proof.
As a former resident, I am honestly disgusted reading this response. Instead of taking accountability for the issues residents have complained about, management seems more concerned with defending itself and discrediting the people who actually lived there. What makes this especially disturbing is that they claim they won’t discuss a resident’s private tenancy, yet they are publicly making statements that negatively reflect on my tenancy and credibility. My biggest warning about Hulen Gardens isn’t just the property conditions — it’s how I felt I was treated after I started speaking up about them. Throughout my tenancy, I reported problem after problem, including cockroaches, fleas, flies, animal waste and urine around the property, stray animals, sanitation concerns, and maintenance issues.
