The coconut shrimp platter with Spanish rice was awesome!!! And the desert... a chocolate type cake with ice cream smothered in Carmel sauce was by far the best desert ive ever had! So save room for desert and get that. Service was top notch!!!

My son attends UT, back in town after Spring Break, my cousin just arrived from Montana for a conference in town & I wanted to have a nice family evening with views of Austin & decent food! I live in SA but came up for a few hours... Exceeded my expectations as it was my first visiit to the Hula Hut!!! Bartenders were very busy & yet attentive to our needs!! Super great staff all the way around!!! Great Food as well! And great views on the Lake!

Busy Saturday spring break lunch. Our waiter was on top of things. Baby back ribs rocked.
An amazing place to eat, I highly recommend anything on the menu. They text you when your table is ready, which is great!
I've been here number of times and was very disappointed yesterday. We sat in the bar area which appeared to be crowded but soon cleared out but waited forever for a server. She was adequate at best, rather talk to the others working there then "take care" of her tables. When we ordered margaritas they were in the tinyest cups for 5-6$ when inside they got the normal glass ones. I'm not sure if this was because of SXSW or what but never had this happen.
