I’ve been coming to Hugo’s since college in the late 70s. Since I live in SC, not as frequently as I would like. Not much has changed. Thank goodness. Awesome food. Great service. Wonderful vibe. Best Reuben ever.

I've been going there since 1970. Never. Ever disappointed. Love it.
Have been several times and have never been disappointed with food quality or service. The one time we had a slightly sub par experience (husband sat in a seat where water had been spilled) the manager gave us a free appetizer. Favorites are the Derek's Special, the Po Boy and of course the burgers. Fries are usually great but can be on the greasy side sometimes. Atmosphere is very cozy so if you want privacy it is not ideal but that is never an issue for us, it is prime people watching territory.
