Wish I hadn't wasted my time with her. No help, no follow up, no sympathy to my pain. After 1 short ultrasound she told me she didn't see anything wrong and sent me on my way. Finally found another REAL doctor that was willing to do surgery. Not only did I find out I have endometrosis, I also had a problem with my uterus that would have caused multiple miscarriages. If I had listened to her I would have miscarried repeatedly, instead I found a good doctor.
My husband and I have been on our fertility journey for over 3 years. We came to Dr. Hughes for a second opinion. After the consult, we knew we were in the right place. She spent a lot of time explaining everything to us. With my diagnosis, IVF seemed like a scary treatment option but she & the staff gently guided us step by step. Dr.Hughes is very professional and knowledgable. Her Staff is extremley supportive and are very responsive to your concerens, I would recommened her services to anyone looking for the "BEST".
I am not somone to bash doctors. However Dr. Chen was a horrible doctor to both me and my husband. I have PCOS and we were trying to conceive for over 14 months. When we saw her she was very quick, judgemental, and showed lack of interest in helping us. We came to find out that our insurance did not cover her services. However she did genital cultures and blood work at the appt. A year and half later my husband and I have new insurance are are actually getting ready to do IUI in two weeks. She's great! I brought a complicated long-term problem to her. She had my information memorized, clearly explained my situation to me, with illustratons, and gave me some great options and lots of hope. My gut instinct was that I wasn't getting good care in the previous offices. I completely agreed with her advice and am very excited to get going!
Dr Hughes has the WORST bedside manner. It's all business with her, there is no compassion. I would not take my dog to her and certainly would not recommend anyone else go to her. There are other doctors out there that are better and have a better way about them.

I love Dr. Cekleniak! I have been seeing her since I was 17 years old for PCOS. Being so young, I was very uncomfortable and nervous but she did her best to make me feel better about what was going on. She is a great listener and extremely understanding. I have emailed her to ask questions I forgot about during my appointment and she gets back to me with a descriptive answer. I feel like I can always trust her. I currently live in CT and I still go to NJ to see her once a year because I love her so much.
The thing I liked the best about Dr Hughes and her staff was the "small office" feel but with access to one of the best IVF centers in the area. The staff ended up knowing you by name and made the process of treatments ( which can be pretty overwhelming) comfortable and natural. I also felt like I was very well informed of what was happening to me and why....lots of explanation and assistance when I required it.
