Dr. Hughes is very knowledgeable and addressed all of my concerns. I saw Dr. Hughes in 2012 after two miscarriages and again when I was trying for a second child in 2015 and both times she has been amazing. Her staff is excellent as well, which is particularly important when you are likely very emotional and nervous. I would highly recommend Dr. Hughes to anyone.
very limited knowledge , the staff and especially susan in the finance department, she is rude and not helpful at all, they are looking to get your money, be very careful before choosing them, don't go by the numbers that they represent for IVF Or IUI
She basically offered me 4 surgeries for a 3cm fibroid in order to get pregnant. She was telling me the ''great'' new while I was still at the exam chair with my legs open, being totally upset, scared and crying. Then she gave me a plan for changing the whole way I live, she told me I will have to have a lupron shots and then 4 procedures at least for removing the fibroid. She also said that my tubes appear to be ''clogged'' or whatever the terming is for that and that I most probably won't get pregnant. Then after all this ... read more
I have had a great experience with Dr. Hughes. Her staff is wonderful and very easy to get in touch with regarding questions or appointments. The evaluation process is extremely thorough and Dr. Hughes is very knowledgable. My only critique was the wait time in the office, sometimes it exceeded a half hour.
Dr. Hughes and her staff were great! My husband and I did not want to leave her care now that we are pregnant but unfortunately she does not deliver :( I had one round of successful IUI which was quick and painless! Dr. Hughes is VERY warm and like a mother! I felt so comfortable with her and she NEVER made me feel like she was rushing out of the room..In fact, it was always her making sure that I didn't have any questions I may have forgotten to ask. I've recently moved to the US and had no idea where to find a good doctor to help me get pregnant. Luckily I found Dr. Hughes and it was definitely worth all research to finally have her as a Dr. I am a pretty young patient (24) and had never been to a Dr. to treat my PCOS. I am very upset with the treatment protocol she used, she never shows her concerns once I started my ivf. I think I made a wrong choice.
I am really surprised by some of the negative reviews. Dr. Hughes helped me conceive twice over the past 4 years and each time she made an anxious time easier. Her and her staff are friendly. She goes through the process in detail so you always understand what's going on and what to expect next. And she has thoughtful touches, like interesting mobiles to look at (since you spend a lot of time in stirrups there,) all the feminine products or wipes you might need (unlike my regular OB who leaves me to mop up ultrasound jelly w... read more
