Dr. Hughes is very professional and knowledgable. Her staff is extremely supportive and are very responsive to your concerns, I highly reommend her services!
The thing I liked the best about Dr Hughes and her staff was the "small office" feel but with access to one of the best IVF centers in the area. The staff ended up knowing you by name and made the process of treatments ( which can be pretty overwhelming) comfortable and natural. My husband & I only have pleasant memories of my visits w/. MD.HUGHS. The office staff was very friendly & helpful. Any questions or concerns were always answered promptly. MD.HUGHS always took the time to explain to us in detail what steps we were taking & what steps we would have to take. She made understanding the process lot easier. I'm 30 years old and began my journey with Dr. Hughes this September after 1.5 years of trying to conceive. I can now happily say that I'm pregnant with her help and a low dose of fsh shots and couldn't be happier. Dr. Hughes is a popular Dr. and her office is busy but she'll always make you feel special and attended to like you're the only patient she has. I would recommend her to anyone and if I have any trouble with my next child, I'll be back to see her right away.
Dr. Hughes is an amazing doctor. She is knowledgeable, understanding, patient, and an absolute pleasure to work with. She is compassionate and caring and always takes time to listen to your concernts and explain things to you. She is always available when you need her and will even get on the phone with you herself to discuss any concerns you may have. Her office staff is also wonderful. Dr. Hughes is an excellent doctor you can go to. She really knows her stuff. She is kind and answers all the questions and never rushes through the appointment. Her staff is very nice as well. Returns phone calls in a timely manner. I really love this doctor and her staff.
I just had my first visit. I was so impressed.I just left another doctor who was useless, and I didn't want to go to a fertility mill. She reviewed all my diagnoses and discussed everything in detail, with pictures. I finally understood what was going on. She gave me good advice about what my treatment options were, as well as costs and statistics. I am now really hopeful and excited to get started.
At first I thought I really liked Dr. Hughes. She IS very knowledable....but I feel as though its a money thing with her. I've been to other fertility doctors before and I know what it costs, but for some reason she charges you for every thing and bills it towards fertility. Now if you only have a certain amount of money towards fertility, this can be a problem. Example...I was unaware that she takes pregnancy tests EVERY MONTH. That right there is $60.00. After trying to conceive for 3 years, I went to Dr. Hughes & I am 8 months pregnant with twin boys through IVF. I cannot thank Dr. Hughes enough. She is very concerned about her patients. I would definitely recommend her. I was not happy with her office hours. When you are on an IUI or IVF cycle, you have to go into the office for blood tests and ultrasounds ~10 times in a month. The blood test is 3 minutes and the ultrasound is about 5 minutes so the whole visit is 10 minutes however these blood tests and ultrasounds are do... read more
