Husband purchased an irrigation pump ($800 item) and upon installation found what seemed to be a factory defect. Returned to Hughes where staff offered advice and exchange the item for a new model. We are well aware that if this had been purchased somewhere else or the Internet, we would’ve been told it is under warranty go through the manufacturer, which would’ve taken an extended period of time , shipping cost for a 75 lb item, frustration and a dead lawn.
