I keep telling my friends about my surgery! Two weeks after I was able to everything I wanted. Walking, biking and even some yard work. Things just got better and easier as time went on. I tell everyone who my surgeon is.
I have the highest regard for Dr. Huffmon and his assistant, Jeff Probst. He used a new, innovative surgical procedure that accesses the spine from the side to perform my spinal fusion and the result has been remarkable. My rehab was months shorter than a friend who had the same surgery but performed with the conventional method and I am now totally pain free while my friend cannot walk without pain and is very limited still in daily activities. I would use him again without hesitation.
I had severe spinal problems for close to ten years. Was never w/o pain. Tried spinal shots which worked somewhat for a short period of time, the Dr. finally told me he could not help any longer. After seeing several neurosurgeons, I decided on Dr, Huffman. In my opinion it was a successful surgery. I am in the process of getting strength, balance and mobility back but the pain as related to my spinal issues is alleviated. Thank you Dr, Huffman and staff.
horrible office staff, doesn't follow up with return calls. rude when appt scheduled. Doctor Left me waiting 2 hours saying he was late due to surgery the day . Doctor advice was egotistical and upon further reviews and talking to others, decided on another surgeon. Beware!
Skilled surgeon, but bedside manner lot to be desired. Showed arrogance at times and seemed annoyed at all the questions we asked. Would not accept lab work or MRI results from Jacksonville where I live. He and Jeff, his assistant very condescending of doctors and hospital in Jacksonville. Jeff quite rude when talking to my wife on the phone. Last discharge visit, Maria appeared after waiting over an hour, but after not seeing Dr Hoffman after almost two hours, we could stay no longer.
Dr. Huffmon was generous with his time. He answered all questions and many we had not thought of. He did not operate until he had exhausted all other forms of treatment. He treated me as though I were his most important patient. I would recommend him to anyone with back problems. His staff is just as comfortable and professional to work with as he is.
Very happy with my care! I feel great and Dr. Huffmon took the time to answer any and all of my questions!
Just love him. He did two surgeries on my back for spinal stenosis. Both times I was pain free immediately.
My entire experience was positive. I could not be more pleased with outcome of my treatment.
